Currently Michelle works at the Forever 21 corporate headquarters in California where she copy writes and edits daily for the e-comm website. Occasionally she has the opportunity to write copy for YouTube videos and creative copy for new in-house projects. Michelle manages the plus size copy division and co-manages the branded beauty and branded home divisions on the company's e-comm website.
Michelle's previous position at Taylor & Pond consisted of assisting the social media team with content creation on all social media platforms and blogs for various beauty and beauty health clients. Her clients consisted of Bio-Oil, LAB2 Beauty, Minx Nails, SensatioNail, etc. She produces product photography and helps assist with graphic creation for various clients. Michelle also copy edited various items and legal documents for the company. On a daily basis she also did account management tasks for various clients: build calendars, creating visually simulating PowerPoint presentations, and reports. Michelle regularly pitched to beauty influencers and bloggers, and prided herself on building relationships with them.
While in New York City she worked at TAG Worldwide where she managed their P&G client with branding needs for Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci.
Before working at TAG she worked with the lifestyle team at Havas Formula where she assisted the PR team with pitching, client relations and administrative tasks for clothing, food and kitchen wear brands.
Michelle worked with the Lippe Taylor agency in New York City as an intern and for a client project: In January 2015 she finished a nine month run with the media and beauty team. For five months she assisted with PR tasks for name brand clients in beauty, beauty health and fashion: Revlon, Botox, Paul Mitchell, Tees by Tina, etc. Before that she did a four month client project with Lippe Taylor and their client CynoSure. In this assignment, she managed a team that delivered media ideas to an aesthetic beauty company. In this role she delegated tasks to each member, and managed the team’s time accordingly. This task also allowed her to exercise creative abilities to convey the needs of the client by implementing her design and advertising skills.
During the client project at Lippe Taylor, Michelle was also a public relations intern at Tory Burch where she helped assist the PR department with international and domestic tasks. Michelle prepared materials for the PR department meetings with Tory Burch. Michelle also kept track of media clippings, fashion week press coverage and kept track of runway samples through an online system.
Michelle is also skilled in fashion design, graphic design and photography. In 2009 she was a featured designer in the Liquid Runway show in San Diego, CA. Michelle has had experience designing graphic art work for two fashion industry employers, and has experience with digital and film photography.
